Articles

The ideas and instructional approaches presented in the Thinking Classroom are grounded in research-based initiatives conducted by members of the Cognitive Skills Group at Harvard Project Zero. Much of that research has been published in professional academic and trade journals over the years. Teachers frequently ask for research-based articles to help inform the practice of teaching critical and creative thinking.

An index of articles on various dimensions of teaching thinking is listed below. For the purposes of retaining the original formatting of these articles it is recommended that you view them in their PDF (Adobe Acrobat) version. If you do not have the PDF reader installed on your web browser you can download it from Adobe.
