We use member contact information from the registration form to send the members periodic updates via email and also to allow us to tailor site information to their needs. Members may opt out of receiving future mailings.
Search Engines
Member profiles, forum discussions, member curriculum designs and other Backpack information are hidden from Internet search engines such as AltaVista, Lycos etc and are available only to the site administrators and members with the appropriate user id and password.
Delete/Deactivate
Registered members who wish to delete their membership and no longer receive our service should send email to the site manager at WIDEsupport@gse.harvard.edu requesting removal.
Change/Modify
This site allows members to change or modify information previously provided. To do so visit http://learnweb.harvard.edu/alps and use the "User Profile" option in the "Backpack" tool.
