As you browse through designs created by other ENT Members, you may decide you'd like to use a design, but would like to modify it to suit your context first. Or, as you create your own curriculum design, you may decide you'd like to save iterations of it to track your progression. In either case, you'll need to make a copy of the master design.

  1. Once you've opened the design you want to copy, click the "Copy Design" button, located in the second row of buttons across the top of the CCDT.
  2. A popup that looks something like this will appear:
  3. In the field labeled "Name of design", enter a new title so that you will be able to differentiate the copy from the master on your Design List. For example, if the current design is called "test design1," this will appear in the text field; you might change this to "test design1 copy".
  4. Below this, you'll see a question: "Copy Design Team Members?" If you want to notify your teammates about this new copy, select the "Yes" radio button; if you do not want to notify them, select the "No" radio button. (You might choose not to notify your teammates if, for example, you're planning to pursue some ideas on your own, and aren't ready to share them with the rest of your team yet.)
  5. When you're ready to copy the design, click the "Copy this design now!" button.
  6. Following this, the copied design will load in the CCDT where you can resume work on it.
