Apply the TfU Framework to Curriculum Design
    Adding Content to Your Design

Let's imagine you want to add some Understanding Goals to a design.

  1. In the CCDT, open the design on which you want to work and click on "Understanding Goals" (located on the right side of the circular TfU organizer).

  2. A window like the one below will appear, displaying "Understanding Goals" in the small text field, and a writing prompt to guide your thinking about Understanding Goals in the larger text box. (You can type your ideas in these spaces.) For guidance on how to formulate solid Understanding Goals, or connect your goals to Ongoing Assessment, click the "Help on Understanding Goals" button and it will scaffold you through the process.

  3. When you've finished entering your goals, click the "Save" button. If you do not click "Save", the text you've entered will not be retained.
  4. Then, click the "Exit" button to close this window and return to the CCDT where you can work on other elements of your design in the same way.
