Differentiating Instruction: Strategies for Teaching English Language Learners

Instructor - Rhonda Clevenson

Rhonda has been a coach, an instructor, a course creator, a workshop facilitator, and a co-developer of the alumni community, to name just a few of her roles at WIDE World. Rhonda's specialty is in differentiating instruction, and she developed the Differentiating Instruction: Strategies for Teaching English Language Learners course.

Rhonda is the Program Director for AAMNVA: An Adventure of the American Mind, a North Virginia Partnership.  Over the years, she has taught in New York City Public Schools and Arlington (VA) Public Schools, in subjects as diverse as technology, drama, special education, and general education.  In addition to her teaching career, she was a classical ballet dancer, teaching and performing with the Minnesota Dance Theatre and Children's Theatre Company in Minnesota.  She earned her doctorate in educational leadership and special education.
