Using Multiple Intelligences as a Tool to Help Students Learn

Instructor - M. Patricia (Pat) Nuernberger

Our acknowledged Multiple Intelligences expert, Pat has been a coach in our coach development courses and forums and an instructor with WIDE World since 2001.  She is the Assistant Head of Academics for the New City School in St. Louis, where they have incorporated the theory of multiple intelligences for the past sixteen years, involving everyone - students, teachers and parents - in the process.

Pat's professional interests revolve around adapting curriculum and assessment to meet the needs of all children, as well as finding authentic ways to incorporate Multiple Intelligences into the curriculum.  She has taught various teacher education courses at both Saint Louis University and Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri, and written and taught several online courses for the University of Rio Grande, Ohio.  She received her educational doctorate from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
