What happens during the course sessions?
Our courses are divided into six two-week sessions (summer courses may be condensed over six consecutive weeks). At the start of each session, instructors post a ?welcome note,? which introduces new content, summarizes and addresses participants? conversations from the previous session, and outlines any assignments and due dates. The assignments include engaging in online discussions with other course participants, creating teaching materials, testing new concepts in your classroom, and providing feedback on other participants? work. Although our courses are not self-paced, the schedule is very flexible ? you can log on at times that are convenient for you as long as you have a connection to the Internet.
