With the help of dedicated and inspiring educators who agreed to be part of the filming, we interviewed students, teachers, and administrators and asked them: "What has Teaching for Understanding and WIDE World done for you?" In this video, you will see responses from the likes of Binghamton High School, a public high school with a diverse student population in central New York; Victoria School, an all-boys public school in Singapore; and Venice Middle School, a public middle school in Sarasota County, Florida, all of whom are working with WIDE World in a sustained way. WIDE World's co-founders and principal investigators, Professor David Perkins and Dr. Martha Stone Wiske, also appear in the video and speak about the philosophies behind Teaching for Understanding and the dramatic changes it helps to bring to teaching and learning. We hope you enjoy seeing how forward-thinking and innovative educators are collaborating with WIDE World to promote student engagement and academic excellence.
